Pneumoconiosis Exam
The pneumoconiosis Act requires that all workers subjected to dust ad fumes to have medical examinations done at least once a year to monitor any chest and general body condition resulting from the exposure to the dust environment. Various companies that operate under these dusty conditions such as Mines, Manufacturing, Construction, farming etc, are mandated to carry out these examinations to their employees.
The completed examinations of these employees are then sent to National Social Security Authority (NSSA) for further assessment and issuance of valid “Red” tickets.
